Tasks 0.7

It's a Bank Holiday weekend, so what better to do that to implement a great new feature in Tasks, and then attack the bug list? It's now Sunday evening, and Tasks 0.7 is available from the Pimlico web site as usual.

Best Tasks release ever!

Hell yes it is!  I think my personal codename for this release might be "Goodbye to Evo-tasks for good!"  Rock on, Ross. :)

My personal codename "please no more tasks tarballs for a week or so!" ;)

just kidding - MDV packages will be up soon (I did 0.6, like, yesterday.)

Hey there,

Like the release, I'm loving the auto updates on my feisty machine :)

I've posted a feature request to Bugzilla before (which was promptly answered!), but just thought I'd ask a couple of questions here.

1.) Are there plans for a context menu in the mane pane? I'm constantly right-clicking things :P

2.) With the Gnome Time and Date applet integration, is there any plans to make this follow the same style as dates. As it stands it's all in the same thick font, and the crossed out items are showing in the middle. I really like this feature, but its interface isn't very usable atm imho :)

Cheers,

Thomas McMahon

Thomas:

1) when GTK+ supports it, possibly
2) That's entirely down to the gnome panel, it's nothing to do with Tasks and Dates.  You'll have to file a bug against the panel.

I agree, the task sorting in the panel is useless.
