New Artwork

Matthew Garrett was briefly my hero today (taking over from Iain Holmes) for uploading into Dapper xserver-xgl and Compiz. Very nice it is too, but it's a bit too crashy on my laptop for any real work.

Shortly afterwards he was replaced by Lapo Calamandrei, who told me he was working on some new Sound Juicer artwork if I was interested. Hell yes, I said, and it turns out he has managed to draw exactly what I wanted the Sound Juicer icon to be, several years ago. He rules.

Looks great.  Silly question--what Metacity theme is that you're using, Ross?

Rad.  I totally want to make out with that logo.

Looks like that orange is crying

You might want to correct that tag - it's "Wish You Were Here", not "Wish You Where Here". It's a mistake I see all too often and it pains me. (Yes, I'm a grammar nazi, and proud of it.)

Otherwise, that logo is very nice. Look forward to seeing it in action on my system here.

I will be Ross' hero again...

Mark my words on it!

Bob, the Metacity theme is TigertCrack.  It's basically an earlier form of Simple with smaller icons.

My first thought was "Nice Logo!" and it is indeed very nice.
However, my second thought was "Why is that orange frozen?" and I had that flashback of a cartoon in which the bad-guy was using a ice canon and the hero gets his legs frozen when his feets come in contact with the frozen ground (yes I know that I waht too much TV).

Ho! I get it! That a CD ... but why is it frozen then? That does not make any sense :-)

It definitively looks great ! Shiny colours, great metaphor, and the inimitable "Tango touch" !
I was wondering if ther is some place where we could  see the application icon in a smaller version ?

(excuse my poor english, je suis français)

What a kick ass logo. So kick ass it could sprain ankles. This is just what Sound Juicer deserves - a kick ass logo for a kick ass app. Nice one. :)
