GNOME in Pixar

Saw Finding Nemo last night. Very, very cool to see Sawfish all over the 'making of' documentary and one shot that briefly contained a gnome panel. - Luis Villa

I can inform everyone that Pixar is now using Metacity and, well, Devil's Pie. Sawfish was a little too crackful for them so they switched to GNOME 2 with Metacity and Devil's Pie to provide a small amount of crack.

I use Sawfish because I like its programmability.  But, the main thing I use it for right now is iswitch-window (http://sawfish.uberstyle.net/uploads/SawfishWiki/iswitch-window-with-class.jl) which allows me to quickly switch to any window on any desktop with just a couple keystrokes.  I also like the matched-windows feature which Devil's Pie seems to take care of.  Are there things out there to give me these, or are they easily written:
1.  Something with iswitch-window capabilities
2.  I can define custom keybindings.  For example, I use Super-{P,S,N,B} to control my MP3 player that is running on another box.
3.  Utilize something to be able to call from programs or scripts of my own to switch to specific windows or desktops.

Not much development seems to being done in Sawfish and I think I may have to switch, as I have grown to enjoy Gnome.  But these things are my must haves.

Ross, that's awesome! What a feeling to see Pixar using software that you've written huh? Congrats. :)
