Katachi Update

It appears that some people actually want to see Katachi in action before they try it. I can't imagine why, it only requires two libraries to be installed from version management, both of which are slightly obscure. So, here is a screenshot.

Katachi

Also some other people don't know where to get GVFS and GtkImageView from. This is the git tree for GVFS, and GtkImageView is here. GtkImageView 1.1.0 should work fine if you fix the trivial compile warnings, so maybe I should ditch my local SVN checkout and use the release for now.

Ross,

Linux still desperately needs an image viewer which doesn't suck when it comes to handling large images and images largen than RAM.

Will GtkImageView help here? I only used it as part of UFRaw...

Hey dude! I thought you were going to send me a patch with a port of EOG for "mobile" purposes! :-)

Actually, you could easily mimic Katachi UI in EOG by removing some items from menu bar and setting some GConf keys. Of course, you would need to do some work to make EOG more GMAE compliant.

I hope we can share some code anyway...

Which kind of GTK theme / window decoration are you using in that screenshot?

The theme is Darkilouche.
