Contact Lookup Applet 0.15

Contact Lookup Applet 0.15 is finally released. Forgetting to release the fix to let it build with recent Evolution tells me quite nicely how many people actually use this: None. If there are any real users out there, please say so!

You can grab it from the usual place. Debian packages heading towards Sid now.

I used to use it a good deal, but alas, deskbar-applet combines the goodness of contact lookup applet, beagle-search, the gnome-run dialog, and all my web searches into one hot-key combo. still qutie valuable to people that do not need all of the things deskbar can do, and only want contacts though.

I'm using it often, but the debian package insulates me from the release bugs :)

It tells you people use the package from their distros. You're quicker releasing and uploading than Lucky Luke is pulling his gun.. Great work!

I never knew about contact-lookup-applet until I read about it on some planet rss feed ( I think planet gnome ).

Now I can't live without it. It's actually better than the deskbar plugin for contacts. I love it !

I have some ideas : How about giving the option of showing the applet as a button that pops up the text entry onclick , or on hotkey ? This it way it will use less panel space.

I have used a lot, but since I dropped Evolution in favor of Contacts, I use it less.

Well, I do now that I realized it's a perfect bit of e-d-s example usage code, I do.

Nice, clean code, too. It made this patch fairly painless to write:
